There’s been a lot of talk lately about steroids in the Major League. The “Mitchell Report,” an investigation into the use of illegal drugs in baseball, was released on December 13th. In it, many famous players like Roger Clemens, Gary Sheffield, and David Justice were all accused of using steroids. I say accused of because it may or may not be true, but the evidence shown in the report seems to be pretty conclusive.
This is something I couldn’t care less about. Seriously, we’re in the middle of a war. Global warming keeps drastically affecting our environment. There are so many more important things to be thinking about than baseball players using drugs. Baseball is entertainment, nothing more. Roger Clemens should have no more effect on Americans than Lindsay Lohan. I don’t understand why all this noise is being made over something so insignificant to our lives.
Why is this story so big?
